Here are the expectations for my students that I hope will make everyone's life easier:
Guidelines for Success in Geography
1. Get to class on time with the supplies you need (see below). If you do this, you
won’t miss directions and fall behind.
2. Sharpen your pencil before class starts. If it breaks, wait to until I
am done speaking to sharpen it.
3. As you enter class, look at the board for the day’s objectives. No one should ask me what we are doing. Read it for yourself!
4. We will have a warm-up every day. Complete it on the sheet I give you. If you lose it, make one yourself. Warm-ups will be collected
every four weeks. We always go over the answer, so pay attention. It is an easy grade.
5. You will need your planner to use restroom. Please try to remember to use the sign in / sign out sheet by the door.
6. You will be dismissed by me, not by the bell. Before you leave, make sure your area is clean and your desk is straight. I should not have to clean up after you and we don’t need to make the custodians’ jobs any harder.
